Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

Brooke and I want to wish everyone a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend! For our part, we are going to Wimberly, TX (near Austin) where my brother-in-law's parents have a vacation home on the Rio Blanco. The river should be too low for kyaking this time, but I heard the fishing has picked up. Anyway, it should be fun.

Lastly, we can't write an entry in our blog without posting SOME pictures; That would certainly be un-American. With summer approaching quickly, we kindly leave you with a triad of summer-like pictures, strangly enough, from January 2009. These photos were shot during the waning days of our 7 months in Costa Rica, in Playa Hermosa to be exact, a mere two beaches down from my project at Ocotal.
